Ok my designer friends, I know you are out there! We need help picking out a backsplash!! We have new counters/cabinets and now it is time to do the backsplash and we have no idea what to do! Please send me pics, websites, anything! Thank you
On HGTV they often use tile, particularly little tile and it always looks so nice. Once they actually did metal, that looked cool too but I think too modern for your cute kitchen. That's all my HGTV ideas!
I agree with the little tiles. I've seen that on HGTV too. It looks really cute. I would go for color rather than too neutral. It's not as timeless I suppose but very fun.
I love the look of glass tile. I love the white (it is clean looking) and also maybe a shade the color you painted the cabinets.. it would look good! Also there is something called "seaglass" that you can use in certain areas, mainly behind the stove that is beautiful (it is a blown-glass, I think). I am sure whatever you decide it will look stunning. How fun for you guys!
This is the best picture I could find, but I think they will be easier to find in person than online. You could do them randomly or in a pattern, but don't use too many. Just enough to make a subtle impact. The kitchen looks great though!
Are subway tiles out? I think that would look good with what you picked because it is a clean, timeless look. I love crisp white, but that's just me. Check out Martha Stewart or the kitchens on the Food Channel. It looks great! I wish we could remodel!

I'm thinking a tumbled tile in cream colors for the back splash.
Good luck!

I would consider doing a 2"x2" cream tile with accents of a metal tile that matches your faucet and pulls.
