Paint Color!!

Ok so I am going crazy with paint swatches all over my house. We are looking for a light brown, taupe, neutral, go everywhere color. What are some good ones out there?? I do not want anything in the pink hue category. I never knew paint color could be so difficult! There are so many! Let me know...Thanks:)

Hey April! Hope you're doing well. Can't believe how big your kiddos are getting. They are adorable! For all-over paint, we have Sherwin Williams "Kilim Beige" in our house. It is neutral, but enough color to warm up the walls and goes great against white door frames and base boards. Good luck!

I have always been happy with the way our "tan" turned out. I, too, was worried about anything pinkish- because I've seen those and I don't like them. Anyway you can take a look if you want. Giving you the name won't help that much. Believe me I've learned a lot about how the color swatch translates to the wall. I would do a lot differently. (don't tell Craig!)

Your Target blog caught my attention from someone's else's blog...so I hopped on...I've been blog surfing while my husband is away and my kids are sleeping...I am a paint FANATIC and test out LOTS of paint in my homes...I've tested out a BILLION taupe samples...and as a designer, I love the cool taupes, with no red...it' got to have a black base...you're not going to believe it...but Tiny Pebble from Walmart (Walmart's generic) is the way to go...I just did my little boy's room and I'll post it on my blog soon....but if anything it has a slight grey/black/sage cast to it...definately not warm taupe...desert-y looking-not even close! It's the kind of taupe that would go great with moss and it's neutral enough I would do my whole house. I've also loved Plantation in Behr...it's a moss color...more green but not a sage, it's got some grey in it...it's the cheap version of Benjamin Moore's paints that are in BH&G but that are close to $50 per can...Goodluck, I hope this helps. Anytime someone talks Target or paint I'm there...sorry to intrude on your blog! ;)
