Every house on my street has this sign in their yards. Family values and marriage should be taught from the home not from our public schools. I don't remember learning about "Adam and Steve" in school. We will respect everyone but not require our children to learn about others "ideas" on marriage in school. YES on 8! It makes sense.
Enough said:)

I'M SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT PEOPLE PUT THE SIGNS UP! WE HAVE OURS UP BUT IT SEEMS THAT PEOPLE OUR SCARED TO SAY WHAT THEY BELIEVE HERE! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS. LOVE THE PICS OF THE WEDDING TOO.
Amen!
thanks for this post.
Marriage is our culture’s ultimate expression of equality–it takes one man and one woman to create a family. Even if a marriage can’t have children or choose not to have children the definition of their relationship expresses this equality.
One could see a lesbian union as a marginalization of men, or a homosexual union as a marginalization of women.
I don't believe government should sanction the marginalization of any parent. And even though some families can't have children, or choose not to have children, you can't separate the child-issue from the marriage issue.
there is a great discussion here:

yes on prop 8!
here, here!
Or is it hear, hear?
I agree.
You guys are in our prayers! We really want to see this get passed. My visiting teacher came today and the topic in the Ensign was on Gender. Wonder why? Hum? The school districts should not have the final say in what our children learn and at what age. It is so ridiculous! Good Luck and of course...Don't forget to vote!
I saw your street! I was really impressed by all the signs in a row.
I wish our neighborhood was that cool. Yes on 8's are few far and in between. There is a lot to be said for Clovis!
Amen Sista, YES ON 8!! And, abolutely your wedding picture says it all! One woman, one man wedded in Holy matrimony. Holy being the operative word, people need to take that more seriously!
April hats off to you and the majority of California! I'm so happy the Prop passed..you have to read my latest blog entry on the whole Prop 8. I think I speak for alot of people because this Prop 8 is more than a California issue..its a national issue! Thanks for having the courage to stand for what you believe in!
