Ok real quick I am painting my laundry room, and I want to paint it a LIGHT blue...any good color suggestions?!! There are way too many colors at lowes and I am getting overwhelmed, I want a calm, blue color. Anybody know of a good blue?

The PEFERCT blue (in my humble opinion) is atmostphere blue from Restoration Hardware. We got a sample from Restoration Hardware (which you can order online or get in the store if you have one near) and then had it matched at our local paint store. It is what I have in my entry way, down the hall, and in our bedroom. I LOVE it- it is a happy, calming color- not too bright, not too dark, not too gray... just right.

Good luck!

The White House did have a great suggestion- I looked it up and it is fantastic! Also, Benjamin Moore has a line of Historical Colors. HC-145-150 are great colors. They are different shades, from very light, to darker. I think the perfect blue has a very little bit of gray in it. FUN! I love picking out colors.

You're more than welcome to check out our bedroom- its a lighter, sky blue... ish. Its Behr paint from Home Depot, Im sure I could find the name of it somewhere around here if you're interested. And it wont hurt my feelings if you come over and decide that you hate it- so don't let that stop you:)

What kind of blue are you looking for? Like a green blue of a true baby blue? I painted Tes room blue and I love it! It's a very girly blue. Pottery Barn had a back ground bule in the owl room they did for a baby room. There the same blue. if you want to check it out on line, or I can send you a picture of her room. Let me know. Good luck.
